Est. on North Street · Wetherby
A cosy, traditional local with a covered beer garden, big-screen sport and proper homemade food. Dogs welcome, families welcome, everyone welcome.
The Royal Oak is a traditional pub on the outskirts of Wetherby town, run by Lucy & Richard with the help of a genuinely brilliant team. Cask ales, fine wines, cheap rounds and a room that always seems to have someone in it worth talking to.
Out the back you'll find one of the best beer gardens in West Yorkshire — heated, covered, its own bar, and a giant screen that turns match days into something closer to a festival.

The beer garden
Covered decking, a fully stocked outdoor bar, heaters, big screens and room for a proper crowd. Sunday afternoons, cup finals, birthdays — it handles all of them.

Heated, covered decking with its own outdoor bar — rain or shine.
Big-screen Sky Sports & TNT Sports outside, plus screens throughout the bar.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside and out — water bowls on the house.
Kids welcome until early evening, with a dedicated kids menu.
Live acts on Saturdays and a proper pub quiz every Tuesday.
Rack 'em up — free pool all day every Thursday.
Garden marquee and function space available for parties and celebrations.
The kitchen
Stone baked pizzas made fresh to order, Oak box meals built for sharing, Whitby scampi, proper fish and chips — and the breakfast carvery that has become a Wetherby habit.

Brilliant pub, great landlord and landlady and fantastic staff. I could not recommend this pub too highly — also perfect for watching sports in the beer garden.
Amazing pizza and great service.
Absolutely fantastic — fun, lively, family friendly, dog friendly local pub in Wetherby. Lucy & Richard have worked their socks off to make this place somewhere we can all enjoy again. Such a happy sociable atmosphere, great choice of cheap drinks, weekly drink offers and food deals. Pizzas etc, all homemade. Come check it out!
